很多人都知道5G技术有三大优势，除了网速达到1Gbps以上之外，还具备超低时延、海量连接等优点，这也是5G三大场景。对于低延迟方向，华为日前在试验中实现了1ms双向端到端时延，实现了5G的理论值。
据报道，近日，在IMT-2020(5G)推进组的组织下，华为以1ms时延顺利完成了低时延高可靠（URLLC）技术实验室测试。
测试结果表明，采用5G R15以及R16低时延高可靠关键技术，5G毫米波设备在99.999%的可靠性水平下，实现了1ms的双向端到端时延。
URLLC低时延技术在某些场合中比网速更重要，比如医疗保健的远程手术、移动车辆、车辆通信、智能电网或工业专用网络中，可提供低延迟和超高可靠性。
移动网络的延迟在2004年的LTE标准中可以做到了20ms，到LTE R15标准中延迟理论上可降低到2.7ms，到了5G R15标准中3GPP组织制定了上行0.5ms和下行0.5ms的要求，也就是1ms的双向时延，从20ms到1ms的过程用了17年才实现。
