FOOD & LIFE 2023

Following its success in the fall, FOOD & LIFE was also held in the spring. From March 8 to 12, 2023, GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen organized FOOD & LIFE together with the International Craft Fair for the first time. At the Munich trade fair center, in Hall B3, gourmets could discover culinary specialties for five days - from coffee to wine and cheese to locally produced beers, the range of products on offer in the spring remained diverse. You can visit the second FOOD & LIFE from November 29 to December 3, 2023, together with Heim+Handwerk.

22 food start-ups that you should know

Healthy ice cream pralines, vegan bread, tea-based gin and cocktails, and much more: 22 young companies at the "FOOD.Start.ups" themed area had delicious innovations in store. 

Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker's man

Here, those with a sweet tooth were in seventh heaven: cakes, cupcakes, ice cream tarts and macarons as far as the eye could see! But fantastic taste wasn't the vendor's only goal: Regional ingredients, vegan products or even social equity were part of their portfolio. 

The cooking stage celebrates its comeback

On the popular cooking stage, experts give tips that cannot be found in cookbooks. Star and professional chefs such as Bobby Bräuer, Franz Keller, Vitus Winkler, Hans-Jörg Bachmaier and Michael Huber present their cooking skills. From baking recipes for Easter to the preparation of sophisticated cocktails: there is something for everyone here!

Facts & Figures

At the end of every year the GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen mbH presents the Heim+Handwerk and the FOOD & LIFE. Together they attract over 121.000 visitors and are among Germany's biggest public and sales fairs.

In future, Food & Life will also be held in the spring parallel to the International Craft Fair with Handwerk & Design and Garten München.
