"After a four-year break, we will unite the tool, pattern and mould making industry and its suppliers under one roof this year and bring together the key players in the industry and their customers," said Florian Niethammer, Head of Trade Fairs & Events at Messe Stuttgart.
Moulding Expo will open its doors in Stuttgart from 13 to 16 June 2023. The International Trade Fair for Tool, Pattern and Mould Making will be staged for the first time in the L-Bank Forum (Hall 1) at Messe Stuttgart. As the largest hall at the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre, the L-Bank Forum has a total area of almost three standard halls when it is combined with the surrounding gallery and the foyer area.
300 exhibitors have now already registered for Moulding Expo. "As the organiser of the trade fair, we are delighted with the great response and the exhibitors' deep affinity for Moulding Expo as their industry meeting point. That sends out a strong signal in times of rising energy and raw material prices which are posing many different challenges for a large number of companies at present," said Roland Bleinroth, President of Messe Stuttgart.
New companies will contribute fresh ideas
Many of the registered companies will be participating in Moulding Expo for the first time. They include Alfred Konrad Veith GmbH & Co. KG. "We regard Moulding Expo as an important regional and national trade fair for tool, pattern and mould making, as well as for plastics processing. We will exhibit at Moulding Expo in order to present our company and our products, and thereby address new customers," said Zeljko Zinic, Authorised Representative / Sales Manager at Alfred Konrad Veith GmbH & Co. KG.
SCHRÖTER MODELL - UND FORMENBAU GMBH will also exhibit at Moulding Expo for the first time: "Trade fairs have always been an important factor for direct contact with our customers. It is therefore only logical for us to take part in Moulding Expo. The main reasons for our participation in Moulding Expo are the wide scope and great diversity of the trade fair. We are looking forward to be able to present innovative services and products along with our trade fair highlight, i.e. an airworthy prototype of a one-person helicopter of our customer FlyNow Aviation," said Maximilian Lörzel, Managing Director and proprietor of SCHRÖTER MODELL - UND FORMENBAU GMBH.
Great importance on the European market
The importance of Moulding Expo for the European tool, pattern and mould making industry is reflected in the internationality of the exhibitors. Over 30 per cent of exhibitors come primarily from European countries.
Exhibitors from Portugal, Türkiye, Switzerland and Italy are very well-represented this year.
Moulding Expo is extremely relevant to the Italian-based company PROMAC. "Moulding Expo is strategically important for us since the trade fair is staged at the heart of the European industry. During Moulding Expo we will present automation systems such as pallet changing systems and accessory changing systems which allow unsupervised work cycles," said Alberto Cattelan, Sales Manager D/A/CH at PROMAC.
Moulding Expo is also very important for another Italian company, i.e. Punto Stampi. "We have always worked exclusively as a supplier on the European market. Taking part in Moulding Expo for the first time will enable us to meet and extend both our customer base and our group of suppliers," summarised Christiane Taschner, Project / Export Management at Punto Stampi s.r.l.
Preparations are being intensified
The preparations for Moulding Expo are in full swing and the exhibitors are also preparing for their participation in the trade fair.
A large number of small and medium-sized companies will also present their products and services for the first time on joint stands. These companies include Lercher Werkzeugbau und Kunststoffspritzguss. "A presentation platform with a European format is more than welcome for our industry. Participation in the joint stand of the VDWF (Association of German Tool and Mould Makers) will provide us with an ideal opportunity to present our company at Moulding Expo for the first time," said Dominik Lercher, Technology Director at Lercher Werkzeugbau und Kunststoffspritzguss. Interested parties can find out before the trade fair starts what products and services the company will showcase at Moulding Expo. "The sneak preview of Moulding Expo enables you to gain an initial impression of interesting suppliers very quickly and make a preselection for your trade fair visit in order to make optimum use of the time spent at Moulding Expo," added Lercher.
