BIFE – SIM 2022 – The International Fair of Furniture, Equipment and Accessories – the most important event dedicated to the furniture industry in Romania and abroad – takes place between September 22nd and 25th at ROMEXPO.

The event is divided into thematic sectors: classic furniture, design, comfort, decorations, lighting fixtures, equipment and presents the design elements with the styles, colors and materials of the year, but also smart applications and solutions that ensure the comfort of a home.

103 renowned companies from Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Turkey, representative for the furniture, interior design, machinery and equipment industry, participate in the event with the most inspired projects and a multitude of considerable discounts. This year's edition registers a degree of internationalization of 17%.

The fair promotes the sustainable side of the industry and the idea of eco home décor. Refurbished pieces of furniture and décor elements using recycled or environmentally friendly materials are at the top of the choices this year. Also, pieces inspired by the natural environment and extreme minimalism dominate customer requirements.

In order to put the representative companies in the furniture industry face to face with the authorities, the Association of Furniture Manufacturers in Romania organizes the conference HOW TO SAVE THE ROMANIAN FURNITURE AND WOOD PRODUCTS INDUSTRY. The event will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2022 – at 10:00 a.m., at Virgil Madgearu Hall, 1st floor, Pavilion B3, ROMEXPO and will mark the 30th anniversary of the Association of Furniture Manufacturers in Romania.

During the event, atelierele ILBAH organizes a series of practical, free workshops. Interested visitors will learn how to make a floral arrangement for the décor of the home, discover the basics of an architectural program and how to make a 3D rendering of a space designed by them. They will also be able to participate in dedicated workshops in which the design rules of a kitchen or home office will be presented.

Moreover, at the #BIFESIM2022, the specialists from atelierele ILBAH will also organize an interior design conference with the theme "The art of living in harmony with your space. Vacation at your home!", in which well-known architects will debate current and interesting topics for this sector, trends in interior design and ways to arrange a home, taking into account both the art of design and the functionality of the space.
