Promoted for 34 consecutive years by AESabesp – Association of Sabesp Engineers, the Technical Meeting of AESabesp – National Sanitation and Environment Congress is considered the biggest event of the sector in Latin America. The theme of this edition is Sanitation: priority for life.
Between visitors to the Fair and delegates from the Meeting/Congress, the event receives around 22,000 people in each annual edition. Its public is made up of executives, technicians, entrepreneurs, students, managers and researchers from public and private bodies, academics and others interested in advancing the application of knowledge in environmental sanitation, resulting in one of the most qualified visits of the sector's achievements.
Fenasan's main objectives are the promotion and dissemination of the technology used in the environmental sanitation sector, as well as the exchange of information, the demonstration of products and the technological development of systems used in the treatment and supply of water, sanitary sewage, drainage of rainwater, laboratory analysis, adduction and supply and collection systems, and final disposal and management of solid waste, bringing together the main manufacturers and suppliers of materials and services for the sanitation sector and related segments.
Socio-environmental actions are also a priority in the creation of this event. AESabesp is integrated into the CDM (Clean Development Mechanism), stipulated in the Kyoto Treaty, and encourages the reduction of socio-environmental impacts, with its own carbon neutralization program.
